A Few Important Things to Note:

  • Please ensure you are available for the time/date you have arranged and ensure your furry friends are around too. As a mobile practice we are only able to book a finite number of appointments in day and no-show appointments take up time that we could have spent treating our other patients. You will be required to pay the full amount of the appointment in the event that you are not present or the patients are not present. 

  • The booking fee portion of the consultation is required to be paid in advance to reserve your appointment. Please be advised that this fee is non-refundable should you cancel your appointment within 72 hours of the scheduled appointment. 

  • Telemedicine consultations for new clients are required to be paid in full prior to the arranged consultation time. The consultation fee includes the time the doctor must spend reviewing the medical history in order to become well versed with your pet's health which can take up to 1-2 hours. Should you cancel your telemedicine consultation, we will gladly refund 50% of the consultation fee to you. 

  • There is only one house call fee per household per visit. For example, a household with 2 dogs will have 1 house call fee + 2 exam fees (if both dogs are being seen that day). This only applies to multiple appointments booked on the same day. 

  • Payment is required when services are rendered. We will always provide you with a treatment plan and let you know of costs up front. We accept debit and credit card from the comfort of your home. We reserve the right to withhold any laboratory results, follow-up consultations or release of medical records until payment has been received. 

  • We do our best to be on time but Toronto traffic is a force to be reckoned with! Please allow a 10-15 minute buffer from your scheduled appointment time. Each patient will receive up to an hour per appointment - the hour will begin only after our arrival. The client understands that it is their responsibility to ensure that on site parking is available and easily accessible for the veterinary staff upon arrival. The parking provided must be legal visitor, driveway or street parking within close proximity to the location of the appointment (our staff will validate $6/hr worth of paid parking, any additional parking fees will be billed to the client). An inability to provide legal visitor or street parking on the day of the appointment will result in the loss of the booking fee. This fee will need to be paid again to reschedule an appointment. 

  • New client euthanasias - if we have not seen your pet previously and you would like to schedule a euthanasia we require the house call fee and consultation fee to be prepaid. We reserve the right to refuse to euthanasia if we feel it is not in the patient's best interest. The prepaid fee will be subtracted from your bill should we proceed with end of life care. This does not apply to clients/patients with whom we have a pre-existing relationship with.
